Align, Attune, Ascend, in Body, Mind, & Spirit.

Goodbye 2023, Hello Grounded!

Life is full of growth and change—it makes sense that we do, too.

Living a grounded life is more than holding padmasana on a mountain top and drinking wheat grass shots—I know.

While we tackle the lifestyle overhauls often needed to center oneself, Grounded is focused on achieving this by building a solid toolkit full of positive habits to fall back upon when the going gets tough. If the going is already tough, then it’s all the more important to start small and gently incorporate these positive changes—starting with physical movement and basic, from-the-Earth nutrition.

Meditate in Movement with a Practice as Unique as You

Our bodies and our minds are incredibly resilient systems, but in modern society this resiliency is often taken for granted until it’s too late. Taking time to check in, maintain, and restore our Self is a skill; and like all skills, the more we practice, the better and more efficient we become.

Fueling the Body & Mind with Integrative Nutrition

Too much, too little, “good” foods, “bad” foods…Getting the proper nutrition to fuel your life takes more than just getting a carrot onto the dinner plate. While that’s a great start, integrative nutrition takes a look at you as a whole—as a person with culture and taste, with family and friends—and pieces together a plan for how to make holistic nutrition a part of a balanced lifestyle shift.

Coaching & Community Here for You

Whether you want 1-1, individualized work or choose to join the larger community classes & programs, Grounded exists to give you a place to call home. Find mentorship, peers, education, guidance, and fellowship. No matter what life throws your way, or where you find yourself shifting to, build your roots here and let them grow.

“After working with Andy on yoga I have started working with her through nutrition…We were able to change my diet with little trouble due to how well she listened.”

Meet Your New Coach

My name is Andy and I’m a certified yoga instructor and AFPA certified holistic nutritionist specializing in plant-based nutrition. I went plant-based around the same time I started practicing yoga, following a vegan diet as a professional engineer and multi-faceted athlete for several years.

While initially thriving, my story changed after a work-life balance crisis left me with depression, anxiety, and physical injury. After struggling for years, I developed hormonal acne, poor joint health, a heart murmur, and an identity crisis. I gave up being a strict vegan—and my engineering career—to pursue healing via natural means. Since then, I have found long-term dietary balance, emotional and spiritual stability, and a rekindled joy in my technical passions. Most importantly, I’ve developed the tools, habits, and mindset necessary to maintain this balance for my lifetime-to-come.

It is my hope, goal, and purpose to pass this knowledge along, and to cultivate a generation of humans who are Grounded.
